Brendan is a producer, songwriter, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and sound designer from St. James, NY. He studied at Drexel University and graduated with a B.S. in Music Industry with a concentration in Music Technology in 2018. While at Drexel University, Brendan interned in the A&R department at Columbia Records in Los Angeles, CA and also as a studio intern at Cove City Sound Studios in Glen Cove, NY, where he currently works as an audio engineer and producer.
     Some artists Brendan has worked with while at Cove City include: Richie Cannata (Billy Joel, The Beach Boys, Bernie Williams), Julio Fernandez (Spyro Gyra), Liberty Devitto (Billy Joel, Meat Loaf, Phoebe Snow, Ronnie Spector), Snarky Puppy, Michael Pollack, Jon Bellion, Torrey DeVitto, Candice Night, Jonathan Roumie, Shawn Mendes, and Jimmy Fallon. On the post-production side of things, Brendan has recorded, edited, and mixed the audiobook for Liberty DeVitto’s autobiography titled, “Liberty: Life, Billy and the Pursuit of Happiness”, and has engineered the voice over narration for the festival winning documentary, “Hot Water on Long Island”. He also engineered and produced the saxophone with Richie Cannata for the main theme to the HBO hit series “We’re Here”, as well as engineered the saxophone with Richie Cannata for the songs on the Paramount Plus hit series “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies”.
     Brendan is also a composer in Produkt Sound, a collective of award-winning and multi-platinum musicians and composers based out of New York. Brendan composed original music for commercials and collaborated with members of the Produkt Sound team, and eventually won and co-composed the theme song for the XFL in February 2020. Since then, Brendan has scored commercials for Maybelline, L’ Oréal, Hyundai, Consumer Cellular, Hidden Valley Ranch, Workrise, and the NBA.
     Ultimately, Brendan is a musician and songwriter at heart. He plays the guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, drums, and trumpet (all of which he also teaches as a music instructor). Furthermore, while studying jazz with mentor Neil Galea, Brendan was selected as an alternate jazz guitarist for the New York All-State Jazz Ensemble. Some of Brendan’s influences include John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Chet Faker, and FKJ. Having a deep passion for jazz and electronic music, Brendan believes in capturing the organic essence of music in his productions, while still aiming for unparalleled audio engineering and sonic quality.
